The Study On Localizers In Zuo Zhuan

In the Pre-Qin period, the localizers can server as a subject, predicate, object, attributive, clause, complement, and can succeed another word (or phrase).and constitute a component of a sentence. The main source literature of this article is Zuo Zhuan. On the basis of thorough investigation , we will make a description and analysis of the syntactic function of the localizers, the semantic traits of the localizers when they succeed another word(or phrase) ,the range of the words which in front of the localizers in structures of locality and the syntactic function of localizer phrases appearing in this book. If necessary, we'll make a comparison with the localizers which appearing in ShangShu, Shijing, MoZi ZhuangZi, LiJi and Zhanguoce, in order that we can draw the outline of the localizers of Zuo Zhuan.
