| Chinese modal complement structure with "å¾—" is a difficult point to foreign learners.we always place great emphasis on that in grammar teaching.while "duoc" of Vietnamese is similar in pronunciation and grammar to "å¾—" in Chinese, by collecting the wrong sentences made by Vietnamnese students and comparing the Chinese modal complement structure with "å¾—" with Vietnamese douc-Sentence, this article try to expain the errors Vietnamese students make while learning this structure, in order to provides some strategies in teaching Chinese as a second language.According to the analysis , the following conclusions have been made: Omitting 'å¾—' is the most significant error made by Vietnamese students ,they used to choose simple verbs and forget to repeat the verbs in verb-object type; Separation-and-reunion vocabulary is a difficult point to those learners, they relay on the interlanguage,used to choose adverbs, prepositon sturctures as adverbial modifier. Most Vietnamnese students tend to use the single adjective and the "Vå¾—AP" type which is the most simple structure to express the Chinese modal complement structure with "å¾—", even refuse to use or simplify this structure. |
