This thesis is mainly about the changes in modern Chinese grammar in the past twenty years, caused by the English influence, the function of the English influence in these changes, and how we should look on the influence. The thesis is based on the theory of language contact, and statistics and contrast are made according to the corpus. This thesis is not just a list of all the phenomenon of Europeanized grammar, but emphasizes three representative grammatical phenomenons, they're the changes of affixes in morphology; the changes of the "bei" structure in syntax; and the changes of attribute. The thesis is divided into five parts:Part 1, Introduction .This part leads in the title and goals of the thesis, introduces the methods used and the materials referred to and makes comments on the recent relative studies.Part 2 ,Affixes and quasi-affixes .This part is mainly about the influence of English language on Chinese affixes. The writer distinguishes between affixes and quasi-affixes, and discusses them respectively. And the writer believes that the English language mainly influences the development of Chinese quasi-affixes, causing a tendency of affixation in Chinese language.Part 3 ,This part mainly deals with the passive voice in Chinese language. Because of the language contact, Chinese language is greatly influenced by the generally used passive voice in English language. As a matter of fact, there is an increase in the use of passive voice in Chinese. As to this tendency, there is no need to control it in purpose, for it meets the need of communication.Part 4 This part refers to the matter of attribute. Under the influence of English language, the length and complexity of attribute in Chinese language have increased greatly. In addition, with the popularity of translation of foreign works, the long-dead grammar phenomenon of Attribute postpositioned comes to life again. For this matter, the writer believes that the phenomenon of Europeanized attribute can only develop to some extant, and it won't explode endlessly.Part 5, Conclusion .This part mainly makes a conclusion about the work done above, and briefly introduces the plan of further study.
