Comparative Study Between Chinese And Spanish Indicating Person Affixes

In recent years,following the development of Internet,using root plus affix as a word formation method has become more and more common.The strong productivity of affixes has been adopted by most people as a way to produce new vocabulary.The singular phenomena of affixes and quasi-affixes have at tracted the attention of many scholars in the last years.Althought scholars have obtained rich results,they have not reached a unified conclusion.The study of affixes and quasi-affixes has a great value,specially for teaching Chinese as a second language.Students who can grasp the usage of affixes and quasi-affixes can infere vocabulary meaning by analogy,improve their vocabulary,under stand popular network language and have a deeper understanding of modern Chinese culture.This paper compares indicating person Chinese affixes and quasi-affixes and Spanish affixes and analyses similarities and differences between the two languages,and studies them.Finally,from vocabulary,language use and culture aspects we present a teaching case and suggestions specially aiming to Spanish speaking countries students.A total of five chapters compose this paper.The first chapter is an introduction,wich presents the research status,innovating points,significance of this study and research methods.The second chapter describes the characteristics of Chinese affixes and quasi-affixes and Spanish affixes.First,on the basis of previous studies,we classify and describe the characteristics of Chinese affixes and quasi-affixes and Spanish affixes.Finally,according to the definitions of affixes and quasi-affixes introduced by the previous authors,we define the scope of this study: 37 Chinese affixes and quasi-affixes and 10 Spanish affixes.The third chapter analyses every affix and quasi-affix of the scope from the aspects of word formation and semantic meaning.We also introduce the history and evolution of the character.The fourth chapter presents a comparison between indicating person Chinese affixes and quasi-affixes and Spanish affixes,which are divided into have re gular,irregular and special cases.In the last chapter,the author introduces some feasible suggestions and opinions based on the research results,and gives an example of a teaching case.
