Absorbing In The Tradition, And Directing To The Modern

This paper takes Fei Ming's poetics and his poetry as the research object, discussing the conflicts of his poetics and his poetry, in order to discover the reason of the conflicts between the two, and the significance of Fei Ming's poetics in the modern poetry history.The paper consists of three parts. The first part, "Rebel Against Traditional Poetics", which based on Discuss the Modern Poem, expound Fei Ming's poetics how to rebel against the traditional poetics. The second part, "The Traditional elements in Modern Poem", mainly discussed the conflicts between Fei Ming's poetics and his poetry from the content, form and aesthetic ideals of the poetry. The third part, "The Modern Direction in Fei Ming's Poetics and Poetry ", explained the modernity of Fei Ming's poetics and poetry by deeply analyzing, which is based on the emotion, sensibility control, illusion and dreams, and the essence in the artistic conception expressed in his poetry, thus reveals that Fei Ming has explored a new way in the modern poetry field, which is different from that of Hu Shi's. Therefore, in the modern poetry history, Fei Ming's poetics is very valuable.This paper mainly adopts the comparison method, which compares Fei Ming's poetics and his poetry, the traditional poem and the modern poem, the poetics of Fei Ming's and that of Hu Shi's, etc, and all of these aimed to reveal the modernity of Fei Ming's poetics and poem.
