The research on style of TCSL (teaching Chinese as a second language) is one brand-new and complex project, in which the research on spoken style is much less. But some problems emerged during our teaching that closely correlated with this impel us to carry out the correlated research urgently. In this paper, the author formulates a table of Chinese stylistic component to attempt using quantitative investigation and the case track method to investigate and analyze six intermediate and advanced teaching materials for oral Chinese which are representative in different period. By the time to find stylistic attribute of those books, and try to put forward some referential proposals on compilation of spoken stylistic teaching materials for oral Chinese.From our investigation and analysis, we find that of the six teaching materials, five belong to the spoken style, one belongs to the neutral style.Text length, style of writing, topic choice as well as words and expressions, sentence type have the remarkable influence on the text stylistic attribute.Through the case track investigation and analysis, we find that student's spoken language expression is neutral style. student can't completely acquire the spoken style knowledge which the text gives. The acquisition and utilization of the idioms and the proverbs are more difficult.The article finally puts forward some referential proposal on compilation of spoken stylistic teaching materials for Oral Chinese, which based on setting up stylistic consciousness, language materials choice and compilation, hoping these have certain referential function on compiling the spoken language teaching material.
