Applying crosstalk to teaching advanced spoken Chinese as a foreign language enriches the existing teaching methods.And this application can better implement the“student-centered” education concept,but also to bring some help in solving the practical problems of the combination of language teaching and culture teaching.By using the rich and authentic communication context of crosstalk to develop students’ Chinese expression ability,intercultural communicative competence,and collaboration skill,which can also greatly help to improve students’ interest and self-confidence in learning Chinese.This paper chooses the application of crosstalk in teaching advanced spoken Chinese as the research object,and analyses and proofs the feasibility of this teaching method from the theoretical basis,the linguistic characteristics of crosstalk and the actual case of Mr.Ding Guangquan teaching Chinese with crosstalk.This paper is based on the monograph Wo De Han Yu Jiao Xue Yu Guo Ji Tui Guang published by Mr.Ding Guangquan in 2012,after a detailed analysis of the selected teaching material and teaching objects,this paper takes the lesson of crosstalk “Talking about Chinese Food” in Qu Wei Han Yu Qing Jing Ju as an example for teaching design.From the text to the classroom activities,they are all designed around or incorporate elements of crosstalk.Finally,this paper summarizes and reflects on the teaching practice.This paper makes the following three efforts based on previous studies:First,it analyzes Mr.Ding Guangquan’s practical experience of teaching Chinese with crosstalk and interviewed his Japanese disciple Satoshi Nishida via email,and then summarizes the teaching approaches of applying crosstalk to teaching spoken Chinese as a foreign language.Second,it follows the summarized approaches to instructional design and then applies it to teaching practice,and provides a complete teaching case.Third,after conducting the teaching practice of applying crosstalk to advanced spoken Chinese as a foreign language,this paper reflected on the teaching process and found some problems in the process,and proposed solutions and application suggestions by combining the previous research and the author’ s thinking.This paper summarizes Mr.Ding Guangquan’s experience in teaching Chinese by using crosstalk,and then analyzes the practical application of crosstalk in teaching advanced spoken Chinese as a foreign language,and also emphasizes the importance of a happy classroom and Chinese cultural image building in spoken Chinese learning.
