At present, China's education is under way of an unprecedented and overall curriculum reformation, However, there is little study on the curriculum of art-desigining major, nor is the material for reference.Chinese modern environment art develops rapidly, ranging from cities, buildings, landscapes, gardens, public places, environmental landscapes to the indoors and so on.All these have to require the reformation of the major curriculum of Art in university completely and go on the profound educational theory study in order to meet the needs of education and social development.On the basis of generalizing and summarizing the theory of the curriculum reformation of some experts and scholars, from the point of social requirement and actual condition of the university teaching, the writer has investigated six universities concerning this subject, and tries to write the paper. The writer attempts to do it from the level of the combination of theory and practice, absolutely turning the theory of major curriculums' reformation to the specific education and teaching action and applying it into practice for operation and inspection.This thesis briefly introduces environmental art's history, educational condition, professional development of China and overseas.Its emphasis is to analyze and summarize the problems in university's art education through collecting some major teaching plans in several universities in Hunan province, moreover, through social investigation to arrange some material data, therefore, initially putting forward some reasonable and essential views on it. Art-designing major education is a very complex and comprehensive educational system.Each art curriculum reformation should combine with its country, and its university. The teaching plan also should be made according to particular student groups, special teaching aims and special education places so as to avoid adopting borrowed curriculum-organizing plans without any choices.
