Possibility complement is very unique in the Chinese language form. Its syntactic structure is simple, but the semantic is relatively complex.The using conditions are more restrictive thus it has become one of the difficulties in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. So many students often use it incorrectly or just avoid using it.This article is based on the perspective of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, conducted a questionnaire survey among 100 students in the international cultural education of Heilongjiang University, using the method of comparative analysis, errors analysis to classify and analyze their errors. Then explored the reasons and finally put forward to the corresponding in teaching suggestions.This article mainly introduced the three forms of the possibility complement and its significance. It also compares with the result complement, degree complement. through questionnaire.By collecting the students’ errors of sentences, summing up the acquisitions. It gave out the bias of complement types: avoiding using the possibility complement,the three types of interactions, other complement mixed with the possibility complement,sentence of “Ba” wrongly used with the possibility complement and idiom complement errors. Then it analysis the reasons of the five types and concluded that the mainly reasons that errors exist are: negative transferring of mother tongue target,negative transfer of knowledge, the influence of learning strategies and the teaching factors. Based on the perspective of teaching and learning are two corresponding.Suggestions are given out: teachers should limit students use the avoidance strategy, insist on a context teaching methods, fully preparing earnestly and stick to the principle, practice much more to improve their comprehensive abilities.
