This dissertation aims to seek for typical experience from some case studies, and also generalize a certain mode of movie & TV production and operation under the vision of management science, by referring to existing models in economics, management science, as well as the researches in strategic marketing theories. Start from script development, accession to script market, and movie & TV series market operation, the dissertation studies the movie & TV production operation models existing in China, and those introduced to and utilized in China from oversea countries. Major script development models include:"brain storming"model, screenwriter predominated model, Hollywood model and its Chinese localization. Major script market accession models include: monopoly operation model, licensed-play model, and Korean TV series model, and the feasibility study of these models in the Chinese system. Major movie & TV series market operation models include: advertisement-embedded model, diversified financing and operation model, profit-dividing model, public speech privilege model, strategy for marketing environment model, brand strategy model etc. By analyzing a series of real cases, we generalize several models for Chinese movie & TV production and operation, and endeavor to set up a comparatively comprehensive movie & TV production and operation system based on the concept of"overall marketing".
