Previous researchers have attached importance to theresearch on rural LiuShou children that stay in particularfamily environment. But most of studies just described theseproblem and phenomenon simply, so from this view, demonstratingresearch is feeble and short of system in the domain.Based on previous researches, using junior school ruralLiuShou children as the subject, this dissertation studied thecoping style and its'relationship with personality and socialsupport by employing Coping Styling Questionnaire establishedby Xiao-Jihua, Gong-Yaoxian's EPQ, and Xiao-Shuiyuan'sSocial Support Assess Questionnaire. One side in order toexplore their coping characteristic and its influencingfactors. And the other side, it is to provide some theoreticalbases for physical and mental development of rural LiuShouchildren, for education about mental health from family andschool. The results showed:(1)In spite of the length of the LiuShou time, the LiuShouchildren inclined to choose middle and immature coping styles.Compared with them, the ones whose parents are at home trendedto use mature coping style, and there is obvious difference between the two groups.(2)Each kind of coping style of LiuShou children hassignificant relationship with most factors of personality andsocial support, and can be estimated by some factors.(3) There are significant interaction effects between male andfemale LiuShou children in retreating coping style, sois amongthe grades. And there are obvious interaction effects amonggrades in middle coping style, so is between the LiuShou kinds.
