At the face of the development imbalance and the theoretical research plight about the relations between man and nature, the author think that One of the possible ways of free from ourselves the predicament lies on the reconstruction of intercourse ideas between human and nature, which, as a result, will contribute to improve the present relationship between man and nature converted from the conquest and control toward contacts and dialogue; from the contradictions and antagonism toward harmony and unity. The thesis claims that, on the one hand, the concept of social interaction can penetrate the relationship between man and nature; and on the other hand, the intercourse ideas between human and nature has always been exist in the history of the concept on nature. For example, in primitive society, the concept of animism constitutes the faith basis of the man-mature contact, and the original myth being discourse system, the totem worship being actual performance. In Chinese traditional culture, many concepts also convey this idea such as Confucianism "Heaven-human induction", "Heaven-human mutual affinity" doctrines; the Taoist "nothing is different in rank ", "I and all living things is an integrity" thinking and Buddhism "all creatures are equal" and "all things embody Buddha nature " and so on. The man-nature intercourse concept is also widely existed in the Western traditional culture.Following the historical study, this thesis further put forward to reconstruct the modern intercourse ideas between human and nature. The contemporary reconstruction does not step once again into animism or emphasize the myth of nature anew. It is a new view of harmony with nature aiming at the harmonious development between man and nature, which to provide a basis for is the relevant arguments of the natural subject and the dialectical unity among the man, society and nature.
