The epic Gesar has a long history. As a dazzling pearl, the epic is famous for its long length, great structure, abundant connotation. Its contents deal with politics, economics, religion, arts, military, geography, folk-customs. The epic's scenery depiction, which reflects Tibetans' aesthetic idea, life style, behavior standard, and ethics, is very vivid. So the article makes the conventional religion thoughts as its theory basis. From the literature anthropological view, the article investigated the epic's aesthetic idea and phenomena. The article wants to expand the epic's study areas and find the particular thinking style and expressional methods, this way, I try my best to contribute to the Tibetan culture.The article is divided into 3 parts. The first part deals with Tibetan aesthetic summarization. This part discusses the aesthetic connotation. The second part deals with aesthetic depiction in the epic. The part studies the particular aesthetic characters of folkore's and writer's literature. The third part deals with aesthetic thoughts in the epic. This part discusses Tibetan aesthetic thoughts.
