The Pilot Study Of The Formal Language Of The Modern Landscape Sculpture

With quickening the urbanization and spreading the new rural strategy, the Landscape Designing is more prosperous, and as an important content and method, the sculpture also takes a very large proportion in the future's landscape designing; however, because of the complexity of the practitioners and their economy motivation, the present landscape sculpture designing and disposal appears very optional and the sculptors are lack of systematical study of the landscape designing language and the attention to the environmental elements. Therefore, to study the form characteristics, the compose regularity of the modern landscape sculpture and the relationship with the environment has the actual meaning to improve the quality of China's landscape sculpture.Based on the latest abroad landscape sculpture images collected by the author, by observing, comparing and analyzing those images, the author tries to seek the theoretical foundations and to study the origin of the designing ideas; then the author goes to the spot of the domestic landscape sculpture to investigate and understands the formal characteristics of the modern landscape sculpture more solidly and intuitionisticly; hence, the author summaries the formal characteristics of the modern landscape sculpture including the sculpting characteristic, the spatial characteristics and the material disposal. Based on the rational grasp to the formal characteristics of the modern landscape sculpture, the author goes deeps into the analysis of the principles of the formal forming method and the harmonious forming method with the environment of the modern landscape sculpture, the principles also concerns with the expressive theme, the relations between the function of the field and the landscape sculpture, the influence to sculptures'originality by the time factors and the cultural tradition.According to the evolving disciplines of the modern landscape sculpture forms and its origin of the theoretical ideas, the author also views the future developing trend of the landscape sculpture macroscopically.
