It was pointed out that in 1990s late, the development of China TV media has already entered a strategic advantage dominant time. In reality, Facing with fierce competition, in order to fight for limited market share, the television channels have also set their own strategies in succession. In this wave, Anhui Satellite TV earlier identified the tv serial strategy, established the strategic goal "to build best tv serial hypermarkets in China ". With the implementation of the system, it quickly jumped the top three provincial-level TV. Based on this background, this paper makes the tv serial strategic management of Anhui Satellite TV for the study, through the field research and reading a large number of relevant literature, it details the status and characteristics in the process of tv serial strategy from three stages of the strategy management: the exploration period, the ensure period, the regulation period. Then from the height of strategy theory analyses the advantages and pitfalls of the strategy management. In the end, the article proposes and demonstrates the ultimate strategic direction and prospects of Anhui Satellite TV: to uphold the core of the tv serial strategy and expand its outreach and build core competitiveness, to radiate to arts entertainment and cultivate new growth points in the ratings.
