The Research On Intangible Cultural Heritage's Tourism Development

Since in 2001, Kunqu in China has ranked the top in the first batch of Mankind Oral and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Masterpiece hold by UNESCO, the country and the masses have paid more attention to the protection on the intangible cultural heritage, and strengthened relevant scientific research and educated studying. The intangible cultural heritage travel has become popular to the masses, in combination with the propaganda of all kinds of medium. It is imperative to develop the protective tourism of the intangible cultural heritage.As an ancient country with incessant civilized history of 5,000 years, the intangible cultural heritage resources in China are very abundant. However, because of the influence of such factors as the acceleration of modernization in China, the standardization of culture, and the deterioration of environment, countless intangible cultural heritages are in endangered state at present. The protection on the intangible cultural heritage was started lately, and there are mainly three aspects of problems in protection works: living environment problem, question of passing on and the lack of protection funds. As to the existence and current situation of the development of intangible cultural heritage, it is generally acknowledged that the intangible cultural heritage needs to be introduced into the market and be carried on appropriate protective tourism development at present. The main way of pushing the intangible culture into the market is to develop tourist industry. It is realistically significant to launch the protection work and pass the national traditional culture on by the development of tourist industry, which becomes a kind of inevitable trend too.The current study makes a deep analysis on the necessity and feasibility of tourism development of the intangible cultural heritage, and holds the view that the appropriate tourism development on intangible cultural heritage, which is an important tourist resources, is helpful for the spread of national traditional culture, the passing on of the intangible cultural heritage, and the supply of sufficient fund for the protection of intangible cultural heritage. It is required to handle well the relationship of development and protection, passing on and innovation in the process of development, and follow the principles of sustainable development, culture original ecology, mankind-orientation, classification develop and protection, and the regional principle.The third part mainly investigates the mode of the intangible cultural heritage tourism development. Based on the current situation of utilizing intangible cultural heritage to develop the tourist industry abroad and at home and the summarizing of numerous scholars' development modes, four kinds of development mode are proposed as follows: museum mode, culture ecosystem protection mode, theme park mode and festival celebration activity mode. The main travel project of the materialization that can be developed is tourist souvenir. The negative effect produced by the tourism development on the culture tourist resources has been focused by the academic field all the time, and such problems as commercialization, performance, authenticity and integrality of culture have existed in the tourism development of the intangible cultural heritages. Thus, some suggestions and countermeasures have been put forward in the present study.The fourth part carries on an empirical research on the tourism development of the intangible cultural heritage in Shanxi. Take Shanxi as an example, the kinds and current situation of the intangible cultural heritage are recommended. Based on the principles and modes of tourism development proposed in the thesis, specific tourism development measures of the intangible cultural heritage of Shanxi are put forward, which is significant for the development of the culture tourism in Shanxi.
