"Pilgrimage to the West" is one of classical fiction in "four-big masterpiece ", the first mongolia edition was translated in early stage of Qing Dynasty, and was spread and enjoyed widely by the time. And 250 years later, another mongolia edition was translated in 1980. Due to the difference of time and social environment, together with the translator's purpose and angle, difference came in language forms, content, and the translator's style.In order to prove that different translation views and ways will be used , due to the language expressions in different times, faithfulness of translation, cultural barriers, difference in shaping the art image, based upon the translation version in Qing dynasty(ancient edition) and the modern version of 1980, this paper has tried to carry out the comparison study of the difference and common features of the two versions.This article is consists of the following server parts:1. overview of "Pilgrimage to the West" and the two version translations, 2. the comparison of the two mongolia translation language forms, 3. the comparison of the content faithfulness, 4. comparison of the treatment in cultural barriers, 5. comparison in translator style, 6.comparation in art image re-shaping of the different version, <1> character portrait description comparison, <2> character language description comparison, <3> Personage mentality depicts comparison, conclusion, reference books.Conclusion: different translation views and methods appeared by the complete comparison study of the two versions of the mongolia translation.
