There are many study on parenting rearing styles in domestic and foreign, the domestic study on self consistency and congruence also launched in psychological factor's various stratification planes during the past few years, and they have got lots of research results.The study on the relationship among self consistency and congruence and their parenting rearing styles also to start to appear, but we have not seen the comparative study on urban/rural senior general middle school student's self consistency and congruence and their parenting rearing style. Therefore the study took the senior general middle school students as the object of study, selected urban and rural students to examine the comparative of parenting rearing styles,self consistency and congruence and the relationship among self consistency and congruence and their parenting rearing styles between urban and rural students.By stratified sampling, the paper investigated 430 students came from two senior middle schools, one is from Qingdao city and another is from Linyi city. The study used SCCS which established by Wang Dengfeng and EMBU which revised byYue Dongmei in 1993 to investigate senior general middle school students. Use the difference test, correlation analysis and regression analysis to analyze the outcome. The results were as follows:1. The senior general middle school students'parenting rearing styles have significant differences between urban and rural students. The concrete manifestation is mother's rejection,father's and mother's preference. On gender and grade differences also exist in urban and rural areas, specifically senior general school students in the city over at his father's and mother's too much interference ,on these two factors exist in significant gender differences, but tin parental rearing styles at the various factors there are not gender differences exist in rural areas. Senior general middle school students'parenting rearing styles in urban and rural areas are significant differences among grades, there are also differences between urban and rural areas, a concrete manifestation of the senior general middle school students in rural areas is father's warmth and understanding,mother's warmth and understanding,father's too interference , there was a significant difference among different grades, but the city senior middle school students only mother's harsh punishment is differences among different grade.2.Senior middle school students'self consistency and congruence existence significant difference between only and non-only students,grades and ages in rural and urban . There are significant differences in self inconsistency and total point of self consistency and congruence between only and non-only students, but no significant difference exist in urban students. There are difference in self inconsistency among grades in rural, but there are significant difference in self inconsistency and total point of self consistency and congruence among grades in urban areas. The ages have significant impaction to self inconsistency, but not exist in urban .3. Senior middle school students'self consistency and congruence have a close correlation to parenting rearing styles , but it also have differences between the urban and rural areas. Specific performance: rural student's self inconsistency only relate to mother's excessive interference mother and father's excessive protection two factors ,but the rural student's self inconsistency has a positive correlation to parenting rearing styles'all genes expect father's excessive interference, rural high school and experience the self-parenting discord with the exception of the father to interfere too much, all the factors were all positively correlated; The urban student's self stiffness is relate to father's punishment,mother's excessive interference,father's excessive interference,mother's rejection,mother's punishment,father's excessive protection six factors, but the rural student's stiffness is prominently relate to all the factors expect mother's excessive interference,father's excessive interference,father's and mother's preference to test four factors ; Self agility both have significant relation to parenting rearing styles factors in urban and rural areas.
