An Study Of Relationship On Parenting Rearing Styles And Self-Focused Attention To The Self Consistency And Congruence Of College Student

In the early stage of socialization in adolescents,the formation of individual personality and values are primarily influenced by the family education.When children live away from home after an independent life,and self-growth and the role of the social environment has been strong.Two community-based process of individual research interests,this article aims to examine the relationship of parenting styles and self-concern to the self harmony of the college students.Study I.Quantitative Research.This study used Stratified Sampling Method,using the Wang Dengfeng prepared,"Self Scale"(SCCS),and YUE Dong-mei,who revised "Parenting Assessment Scale"(EMBU).In addition,translating Kiropoulos and Klimidis(2006) in the preparation of the "Self-Focused Attention Scale"(SFAS),and then use this scale as a framework,combined with the psychological characteristics of college students the current situation of self-concern since the e-stablishment of a self-report questionnaire.Main results are as follows:1.Different gender,students'homeplace,grades and whether single child,the college students were significantly different modalities,and factors in emotional warmth and understanding, preference factors and severe punishment there is a very significant factor in the differences.2.Students of different gender aspects in the self-interest were significantly different.Among them,the girls and the dimensions of self-concern scores were significantly higher than boys;of different sources.the year and whether the child's college students in the various dimensions of self-interest and there is no significant difference.Among them,the score of self-interest of single child is higher than non-single child,but there is no statistically significant difference.3.Overall,at this stage on the Self case showed a positive skewed distribution.Self is only a minority of students discord,self-balanced,harmonious self is the majority.Students self-harmony various factors in general there are significant gender,homeplace,grade and whether single child differences.4.College students parenting style,self interest and self harmony degree and the factors presented by the various factors related to the more significant demographic variables and different parenting styles,self harmony degree of self interest generated by the various dimensions predict the endless the same. Study II.Qualitative Interview StudyQualitative Interview Study of 10 college students through semi-structured interviews,which found self-Family Education is indeed a state of harmony and there is a very close relationship,while Self-Focused Attention is the formation of personality in college students late great impact on mental health psychological factors.
