The Consideration Of The Constructing Resource-efficient Society In Economy And Ethics

With the traditional planned economy transforming to the socialist market economy under the Chinese reform and open policy, it has not only brought the high-speed growth in economy but also largely increased the demands for each resources. So it becomes an inevitably choice to construct the resource-efficient society in order to realize the sustainable development in Chinese economy.During this process the market economy system is a double-edged sword to construct the resource-efficient society. The ethics problem itself has certain influence, which plays on advantageous side and disadvantageous side inevitably. We should display the favorable factors and avoid the disadvantage factors to improve the construction of resource-efficient society. This proposed economy is quite different from the traditional economical theory that more emphasized on the economy in concrete material for own benefit. The resource-efficient society requires not only for the concrete economical measures on resources and product, more mainly to form one economical idea and one attitude which is responsible to the society's sustainable development. At present there exist serious resource- wasting problems in our country .The reasons are various, including the influence of the extensive -like economy growth way, also including the erroneous zone of the moral domain. The former belongs to the economic category; the latter is a key point to the ethics studying.This article takes the resources property rights as a clue and analyzes social phenomena and the ethics issues which origin from the occupation ,the utilization ,the benefit and the assignment of the resources and the product separately at a ethics view. These four links are mutually independent, and relates mutually either. Although in each link the external performance of the question is different, but its ethics question may be summarized in the final analysis for the following three kinds of contradictions: One is the contradiction between the personal interest and the collective interest; the second is contradiction between the local interest and the overall benefit; the third is the contradiction between the temporary benefit and the long-term benefit. Through the analysis and combining the ethics influence of the market the author proposed suggestion to solve ethics issues: we must raise the total view, the collective spirit, and the long-term idea. Whoever the signal person and the various social aspects must joint efforts to set up the resource-efficient view which is adapted to the society's economical development. The resource-efficient society that we proposed is not a final result and does not have a concrete standard; it is a process and an endless development target. The suggestion will guide us to persist the sustainable development strategy, better to realize the harmonious unification between the person and society and the harmonious unification between the human and nature.
