The Relationship Among Self-confidence, Interpersonal Besetment And Learning Performance For High School Students

Self-confidence is one word we offen use in the life, and it is an important factor which impact persons' development. In recent years, psychologists began to research the theme of self-confidence and received some achievements. The subjects were undergraduates in most self-confidence research in China, but we will choose high school students in this article. One of the goal is to know the high school students' self-confidence level, the other one is to discuss the relationship among their self-confidence, interpersonal besetment and learning performance. Middle School Students Self-confidence Scale and Middle School Students Interpersonal Relationship Scale were given to 288 high school students.The study results indicated that:1.On the whole, high school students' self-confidence was secondary level. Girls had more positive school self-confidence than boys and boys' physical self-confidence was significantly higher than girls. There were differences of school self-confidence among different grades. Second-year students' school self-confidence was the highest, and first-year students' was the lowest one.2.All the self-confidence dimensionality of students were negatively correlated with their student relations besetment. Expect for social self-confidence, others were negatively correlated with their teacher-student relationship besetment.3. The academic achievements of students were positively correlated with all the self-confidence dimensionality.4.The whole self-confidence and social self-confidence proved to be negative predictors of students' student relations besetment. School self-confidence negatively predicted their teacher-student relationship besetment. The total scores of self-confidence scale proved to be positive predictors of learning performance.5.High school students' domestic economy affect their self-confidence through influencing their student relation besetment. Social self-confidence, physical self-confidence and the total scores of self-confidence scale played completely mediating role between students' domestic economy and student relations besetment.
