A Research On Top-quality Teaching Materials Construction Of English In Higher Vocational College

The construction of the teaching materials is the most important element of higher vocational education. Top-quality teaching materials are the basic assurance of cultivating eligible talented person. Developing higher vocational education with effort, cultivating and training high technological applicant elites who meet the needs of producing, constructing, managing and serving, require us to attach much importance to the reform and construction of the teaching materials for higher vocational education.As well known, English is the obligatory course in higher vocational education. It is our common wishes to improve English teaching levels and establish superior English courses eagerly. Top-quality English teaching materials are the loads of higher English teaching idea, developing objects, teaching content and course systems. They are the assurances of English course practice and also the main symbol of English teaching reformation. So the top-quality teaching materials construction of English in higher vocational college is not only a very important part but also a key step in the superior English courses construction.The whole thesis is divided into four chapters. At the beginning, it introduces the background of the research. At the second part, the author has made a questionnaire research to analyze the current statement and problems of higher vocational English teaching materials construction. The third part focuses on the theory research of the top-quality English teaching materials construction. It summarizes the connotation and features of Top-quality English teaching materials, explores the way and methods of it. At the fourth part, according to the domestic higher English teaching materials construction, combining with the theories abroad, this paper suggests some policies to develop the top-quality teaching materials construction of English in higher vocational college.The most creative point in this thesis is: the subject is fresh and original. It is a practical research. The author gives an opinion so that others may follow suit.
