A Case Study On The Back-checking Movementof Land Reform In Shandong Rizhao County In 1947

This dissertation examined the back-checking movement of land reform in Shandong Rizhao County in 1947.At the end of October, 1946, Rizhao County's land reform movement was finished basically.In the spring of 1947, according to the united requests of Binhai Committee of CCP, Rizhao County developed the back-checking movement of land reform starting with suppressing spies. In order to obtain the commendation, a county-wide upsurge of suppressing spies started very quickly. As the wrongful methods like torture and threat were abused, serious mistakes occurred. After July 7 instructions that declared the guideline all decided by mass and leaders let go, Binhai and Rizhao Committee of CCP set down more radical policies, thousands of people were killed or injured. so broad masses' lives and properties had suffered the heavy losses.Through the study, I found that the back-checking movement of land reform in Rizhao County had taken place with serious mistakes, primarily this was caused by the cadres' strong impulse.With the guideline of rectifying deviation and ending land reform established, the back-checking movement of land reform was carried in an orderly way, Rizhao Committee of CCP reversed the adverse situation basically, but a number of problems left behind.
