On the basis of contrast of Chinese and German phonology and phonetics, my research is aiming at finding effective teaching methods of Chinese phonetics to German students. Using applied Contrastive research theory, my research compares German to Chinese in an unidirectional way. And utilize the predicting ability of Contrastive research, to predict the difficult part in learning Chinese phonetics for German students.At present, most of linguistic comparison researches in TCFL studies focus on comparison between Chinese and English, or Asian language, such as Japanese or Korean. However, if we want to provide better ways for teaching German students, the linguistic contrast between Chinese and German is needed. With the increasing of the economic, cultural communication between China and Germany, more and more German students start to learn Chinese. As a result, to serve for TCFL, to fulfill the needs of German students, the linguistic contrast between Chinese and German is absolutely needed.In consonant contrast part, there are two parts: the phonology and phonetic comparison. That means, first contrast Chinese and German consonants in general; then compare them individually. This contrast is aiming at analyzing and concluding the difficulties for German students learning Chinese consonants. On basis of former analysis and conclusion, I made research on how to solve these difficulties in teaching, and found out solutions to every problem.In vowels contrast part, the structure is the same, first contrast Chinese and German vowels in general; then contrast them one by one. This contrast is also aiming at analyzing and concluding the difficulties for German students learning Chinese vowels. On basis of former analysis and conclusion, research on teaching solutions has been made after.In tones part, I analyzed and concluded the difficulties in learning Chinese tones. In teaching part, these difficulties need to be treated separately.In the conclusion of teaching research, there are two kinds of solutions, one is to explain the phonetic rules and methods clearly; the other is teaching skills in specific drill. My research on teaching methods not only fits German students learning Chinese in Germany, but also fits those in China. Therefore, the research could improve the phonetics teaching way both in Germany and in China.
