Cao Zhenji is a famous poet of the Emperor Kangxi in Qing Dynasty in the 'shanzuo' area. When he was a child, Cao studied from his grandfather whose name is Liu Zhengzong. His poetry had got a high spoken from Wang Shizhen Song Zhao Zhixin and been indexed in 'the Poetry of Shanzuo' by Wang Shizhen. Cao's poetry writing process has an obvious change which is called "from the Tang to the Song" .This paper is following the cluesto the process in order to study arts features of Cao's poetry in the different periods of time by reading and analyzing ,and shows the artistic practices and the internal thread of Cao's poetry. The full text is now divided into three parts:Chapter 1: 'studied from Tang Dynasty', the poetics source of 'the first poetry of Kexue'.Cao's early poetry mainly studied from Tang Dynasty. He always imitate the poetry of Penlon Li, Wang Shizhen, which represented the "Seven Poets" and the poetry of Liu Changqing, Li Shangyin and Han Wo's poetry, as represented the poetry style in the late Tang Dynasty . During this period, the main type of literature of Cao's poetry is 'jinti'. In the first stage of imitation of Tang Dynasty ("Seven Poets"),Cao's poems studied from both their forms and their artistic conceptions. Cao's poems are not just copied the language model of other's poems,but studied on the intrinsic meaning of these poems. He has got a better understanding and at the same time the displacement will be adjusted appropriately.Therefore, the poem style studied from the "Seven Poets" is a big step to establish its own poetry style. In the learning process,it is embodied in the form of language to control the ability to further enrich the subject matter has to expand the good condition of poetry . Cao's poems of the same period in the late Tang Dynasty style of learning can be seen as forms of poetry to practice skills, their performance in the choice of words and combinations to use are more poems from our predecessors. Chapter 2: Poetry forms are different—the poetics orientation of《Kexue second poetry》Cao zhenji was learning the Tang poets, and the representative works of the second phase were his seven Characters ancient poetry and five Characters ancient poetry. Comparing to the poems, ancient poetry was more openly on the forms. Cao's poems were trying to establish the more complex structure of poetry, so sometimes there had many forms of famous Tang poems within one Cao's work. This kind of poems focuses on publicity playing and forms of expression, so they can't integrate the "form" of ancient poems and the "meaning" of Cao's work. This period the five Characters ancient poetry had more achievements than the seven Characters ancient poetry. Some five Characters ancient poems can integrate the form and the meaning perfectly, but in the words still left from the use of traces of ancient poets. This period another development of Cao's works was there has been a system poetry works. These works can perform Cao's poetics normative orientation of respecting "Seven Poets" and Tang's poets, some of which reflect the thinking on the basis of philosophy of life and shows the idea of a certain depth.Chapter 3: The late poetry of Cao zhenjiThe late poetry of Cao zhenji appears many works like Song's poems, and the most typical works were the history themes. Cao's history themes poems can fall into two broad categories: one was making history as the poem and another was taking history in the poem, the former used the form of seven Characters ancient poetry and five Characters ancient poetry, the latter used the form of seven quatrains. The ancient poetry of "making history as the poem" has the features of "making article as the poem", so although it showed very skilled technique discussions, the achievements in the arts was not high. The works of "taking history in the poem" learned Lu you's poems, focusing on short statement quatrains system expansion tension, so they reflected the significance of the unique structure of poetic beauty. Overall, although the history themes poetry was the important type in late poetry of Cao zhenji, it can't fully demonstrate the mature style of Cao's works because focusing on the style of Song poems. The mature style of Cao's works perfect embodied in the《Huangshan Tour poem》and《Mid-Autumn Festival bitterly verse》,the former became the ontology of the most poetic because it integrated the form and the meaning perfectly, the latter fully realized the function of lyric poetry.
