The Comparative Study Of Interpretation Between Xiangjiaopianhai And Sishengpianhai

"Si Sheng Pian Hai" is a book of the largest number of Chinese characters in ancient China, which was completed between" Yu Pian" and "Zi Hui". It is considered as an important work in the transitional period of Chinese characters books'development, and had a profound impact on later Chinese character books. "Xiang Jiao Pian Hai" based on "Si Sheng Pian Hai", finished in Ming Dynasty four hundred years later. Although "Xiang Jiao Pian Hai" is an advanced one of "Si Sheng Pian Hai", but the two books have a close relation in the characters, phonetic, interpretation and other aspects, therefore, compare between the two books is feasible.Based on the compare of interpretation, this essay tries to find the similarities and differences of "Xiang Jiao Pian Hai" and "Si Sheng Pian Hai"by exhaustive testing on the interpretation of the two books in eight aspects. Then this study made a deep exploration and careful analysis of the two books' differences in interpretation. The reasons of differences between the two books divides into two categories of twelve small sorts.At last, according to the study of the two books,it is obvious that "Si Sheng Pian Hai" did a lot work to "Zi Hui",both in characters collection and explanation. "Xiang Jiao Pian Hai'" is a historical bridge between"Si Sheng Pian Hai" and"Zi Hui" in the development of Chinese characters book. It is worth to pay more attention to "Si Sheng Pian Hai"in following research.
