The Study Of Translation And Introduction Of Russian Literature In Xiao Shuo Yue Bao (1921-1931)

Xiao Shuo Yue Bao(1910-1931) was the major literary journal in China's Modern Literature history.After Mao Dun's innovation in 1921,it became an important new literary journal that attached importance to foreign literature in translation and introduction.Russian literature was the first choice of its translation and introduction,taking a high proportion among these foreign literature.This paper mainly focused on the research of Russian literature in translation and introduction in Xiao Shuo Yue Bao between 1921 and 1931.The introduction showed the basis of the topic,the importance and the expected results of this paper.Chapter one discussed the background of Russian literature in translation and introduction of Xiao Shuo Yue Bao(1921-1931):the translation and introduction in it,the academic achievements about it,the basic situation of it before the May 4th movement.Chapter two described the content of Russian literature in translation and introduction of Xiao Shuo Yue Bao(1921-1931):a diachronic review on the content during this eleven years of it,the first album of it which is called "The Study of Russian Literature". Chapter three tried to make a evaluation about the Russian literature in translation and introduction of Xiao Shuo Yue Bao(1921-1931):It was the "Spiritual Mentor" of Chinese literature in the ideological part,and it was also the "Art Model" in aesthetic part.Conclusion was a summary of the full paper:Russian literature in translation and introduction in Xiao Shuo Yue Bao(1921-1931) focused on the social values,while not overlooked the aesthetics values.
