The Motives And Mechanisms Of The Grammaticalization Of '来,去'

'来,去'are two words of high use frequency in the basic vocabulary of modern Chinese, and the usage of them is very complex. The Research on the motives and mechanisms of the Grammaticalization of'来,去'to find out the relationship between the use of these complex from the diachronic and synchronic point of view, on one hand,will enrich the Chinese theory. On the other hand, it can also provide certain basis and idea for teaching Chinese as the second language.To review how it evolved in the long history,this article starts from the description of the distribution of'来,去'in modern Chinese. Integrated with various perspectives, with part of speech as main line, and based on syntactic features, we set up a form relatively complete to describe the distribution of the modern Chinese'来,去,and expound the phenomenon which plays an important grammatical function in modern Chinese as well.By describing the development and analysis of'来,去'We tried to solve these problems from the perspective of Grammaticalization and find out the reasons for their exist in modern Chinese according to their development route. We analyzed the development situation of'来,去'in ancient, medieval, modern and contemporary times,to find the Grammaticalization motives and mechanisms from the analysis to statistics and corpus. The ancient and medieval times were crucial periods of Grammaticalization, when much of the function of'来,去'were generated. The period of" modern times, and the times since the forth of May, determined'来,去'to stride forward to the path of modern Chinese.At last we got two conclusions. The first one, we found a more complete Grammaticalization Chain of来,去',and you can clearly see the grammaticalization trajectory through this graphic expression;the other one is we summarized the Evolution Causes and Mechanisms shown in the process of virtual development to find out the general rule.
