The Study On The Time-Adverbs Of Shi Shuo Xin Yu

In Chinese, the pragmatic-frequencey of Time-adverb which is related to the verbs is very high.Its using situation is complexity and it has much more kind than others.Wei-Jin Dynasty and South-North Dynasty is an important period in the evolution of Ancient Chinese to the Middle Chinese, plays the role which links the past and the future.In other words, so many language phenomenon were carried forward form the antiquity time and developed.At the same time, it is the source of many language phenomenon of Modern times.So the study of the Wei-Jin dynasty occupies an indispensable position in the history of Chinese.Shi Shuo Xin Yu is a note-novel written by Liu Yiqing during Song period in Nan Dynasty which could reflect the language appearance then and with a strong feature in spoken language,so it plays an important role in the study of grammar.To deeply investigate and study the time-adverb of this book, it can enrich the study of itself, helps to deepen the grammar system of the Wei-Jin Dynasty and South-North Dynasty and improves the study of the history of chinese.This paper consists of several parts as such following:Chapter 1.Introduction.What we expound is the meaning of the paper,the status of the study on the time-adverb,the techniques of the study, the materials of the paper.Chapter2.The definition and the classification of time-adverb. According to the study of predecessors and our own understanding,we state the meaning of the time-adverb. Then we divid the time-adverb into three types on the basis of the theory of Zhang Yisheng---indicated-time adverb,indicated-frequency adverb, indicated-order adverb;divide the indicated-time adverb into two types---indicated-tense adverb, indicated-aspect adverb; divide the indicated-frequency adverb into four types---high-frequency adverb,intermediate-frequency adverb,low- frequency adverb,alterable-frequency adverb;divide the indicated-order adverb into two types---indicated-sequence adverb,indicated-repeat adverb. Chapter 3-5. In these chapters, We will study the time-adverb of Shi Shuo Xin Yu carefully and comprehensively, in order to describe the characteristic of each kind of adverb and outline the overall appearance of time-adverb of this book.Chapter 6. The characteristic of Time-adverb. According to the diachronic comparision,we discover some obvious characteristics:The inheritance of Time-adverb of the antiquity time and the rise of new words;The double syllable tendency is obvious;The word-building method becomes better and better; Some Time-adverb displays a more remarkable subjectivity in some specific linguistic environment.Chapter 7.Conclusion.We will briefly sum up the contents of the paper.
