Confucius Cultural Festival And Confucian Cultural Communication

Confucius Cultural Festival is a ceremony of communication, it carries profound Confucian culture, the core issues of it——Holy Ceremony of Confucius,which can be traced back to Han Dynasty and have lasted for two thousand years. As a result of that, it could be called a miracle of cultural history. Since 1984,26 sessions of Confucius Cultural Festival have been held, and it has made tremendous progress on its holding patterns and cultural connotations through continuous improvement and innovation. The essay firstly traces the origin and development that lasts two thousand years of Confucius Cultural Festival. Based on the above analysis, the essay analyzes the following questions intensively in terms of cultural communication.Since the beginning of the new century, Confucian culture has been widespread concerned, meanwhile, Confucius Cultural Festival provides a new mode of transmission which makes our exploration and study valuable.In this paper, I presented the origin and development of Confucius Cultural Festival. And in the perspective of cultural communication, I put on discussing and studying of the following major issues. Firstly, I make the feasibility study of Confucian Cultural Communication of Confucius Cultural Festival; Secondly, I study this process from four aspects:communicator, content, media and acceptor;lastly,I analyzed the negative impact of Confucian Cultural Communication and give suggestions based on the specific conditions.In conclusion, Confucius Cultural Festival is a meaningful exploration of the Confucian culture communication, at the same time it also has many deficiencies. This paper makes a systematic analysis, which is an attempt to explore the promotion effect and the possible potential problem to find out how to solve it in order to promote the heritage and development of Confucian culture in modern society.
