The Role Of The Elements Of Chinese Folk Songs On Sight-singing Teaching

Western music education methods in China have existed for almost a century, and tha(?) largely promoted the development of music education in China. However this western sense of pitch as a standard unified sight-singing teaching does not allow students to work on other music systems to make an objective assessment and forms impediments to multi-cultural understandings Besides, that also ignores the individual differences of students and existing knowledge structure, which is contradictory to "individualized" principle.
