With the rapid development of modern medicine and the transformation of people's health consciousness, the demand for high-quality and high-level skilled nursing personnel is increasing. The national plan for the development of nursing(2016-2020)points out that China has a shortage of millions of nurses, and the allocation of nursing human resources is seriously insufficient. However, due to the low social status of nursing work and the increasingly tense relationship between nurses and patients, the life satisfaction of existing nurses declines, and the number of nursing staff is constantly losing.Nursing students in higher vocational colleges are the main reserve force for the development of nursing career.A good physical and mental state will directly affect the development and stability of nursing team.A large number of studies have shown that good interpersonal relationship plays an important role in the improvement of life satisfaction, but there is little research on the relationship between gender roles and interpersonal relationship and life satisfaction. In this study,a cross-sectional questionnaire survey was used to investigate the gender role, interpersonal relationship, and life satisfaction of nursing girls in vocational colleges.500 nursing girls in a vocational college in hebei province were investigated using Bem gender role scale, interpersonal relationship comprehensive diagnosis form and adolescent life satisfaction scale as survey tools.Spss21.0 software was used to input, sort out and analyze the data of 479 valid questionnaires after screening, and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)The gender role development of female nursing students in higher vocational colleges is unevenly distributed, ranging from high to low: bisexual(44.9%),feminine(31.3%),undifferentiated(17.5%),and masculine(6.3%).Gender roles have significant differences in variables such as grade, place of origin and one-child status. The proportion of intersex in different grades is increasing year by year.Students from urban areas are more intersex than those from rural areas, and students from only children are more intersex than those from non-only children.(2)The degree of interpersonal distress of female nursing students in higher vocational colleges is significantly different in gender role, grade, place of origin and whether they are the only child or not.The female group has the most serious interpersonal distress, followed by androgyny, and the male and undifferentiated interpersonal distress are the least. The degree of interpersonal distress of nursing girls in higher vocational colleges is decreasing year by year. The students from urban areas have more interpersonal problems than those from rural areas. The interpersonal problems of non-only children are more serious than those of only children.(3)The life satisfaction level of nursing girls in higher vocational colleges is significantly different in gender role, grade, place of origin and whether they are the only child or not.The life satisfaction level of the androgynous group is significantly higher than that of other gender roles. The male and female are of medium level, and the life satisfaction level of the undifferentiated group is the lowest. The life satisfaction level of nursing girls in higher vocational colleges is increasing year by year. The life satisfaction level of students from urban origin is higher than that of students from rural origin, and the life satisfaction level of only children is higher than that of non-only children.(4)The relationship between gender role, interpersonal relationship and life satisfaction of female nursing students in higher vocational colleges, masculine trait and feminine trait are significantly positively correlated with each dimension of life satisfaction, while masculine trait is significantly negatively correlated with the total score of interpersonal distress.Interpersonal distress plays a partial mediating role in the influence of masculine trait on life satisfaction.
