Death attitude is one's beliefs and feelings of death, which are subjective and multi-dimensional.It contains three components of cognition, emotion and action. At first, the research on death attitude and the emotions was focus on the fear and anxiety of one's death and dying what happens on oneself and others. As the developing of death attitude research and the measuring tools, researchers recognize the attitude toward death was complex, positive and negative emotions and feelings may coexist. For a more comprehensive understanding of death cognition and emotion, death attitude will be explored in this study.Foreign Countries and Areas of Hongkong and Taiwan have accumulated rich theoretical and empirical research results on attitude death, and domestic research in this area has just begun, yet there is no attitude to death on the high school students of the study.The purpose of this study is to explore the characteristics of high school students attitudes toward death and experience combined with intimate relationships scale (ECR) of the death attitude and attachment relationships.The questionnaires are used in this study including the Taiwan Chinese version of the Death Attutide Profile-Revised (DAP-R), Chinese version of experiences in close relationships (ECR) and information on personal and environmental variables. As the Taiwan Chinese version of DAP-R, had not be used in high school student of mainland. A pre-test of DAP-R be surveyed in 110 samples. Finalization of the 28 questions version of death attitude scale (DAP-R) consists of five dimensions:fear of death anxiety, death to escape, death natural to accept closer to acceptance of death, death to flee to accept. The ECR contains 36 questions that can be assorted into two dimensions of attachment avoidance, attachment anxiety and four types of security, preoccupied and fearful, dismissing. And a formal questionnaire of high school student' death attitude is formed after primary test and relevant analysis.This research collected 337 samples from grade10-12 of Chinese High schools. The present study investigated death attitude and the relationship between death attitude and attachment. The result suggests that.1. Generally speaking, neutral acceptance ranks the highest among high school students'attitudes toward death, which means most of high school students see death as a natural process. 2. As a whole, there is a significant and negative correlation between fear of death and physical health level,. The same correlation could be found between approach acceptance with physical health level and death avoidance with physical health level. Those who are at the highest physical health level have the lowest fear of death, death avoidance and approach acceptance.3. Different ways of discussing death related topic performance a statistical significance at death fear of death and death avoidance. In general, the more open frank circumstances talking about death, fear of death and death to escape the lower level.4. The distribution of High school students'attachment style appears the most secure type, accounting for 46.9%, followed by followed by obsessive-type (22.0%), dismissing(17.8%), fearful (13.4%). In addition, at attachment anxiety, the high school girls higher than boys. at attachment avoidance there is no difference between male and female.5. Different attachment types of high school students in the level of fear of deaths and escape acceptance significant difference. Overall, the death fear of secure attachment is lower than insecure attachment. Fearful type and preoccupied type subjects have a higher fear of death than the security type, dismissing type. The death escape acceptance of fearful attachment is significantly higher than secure.6. The different attachment types of High school students at different health levels vary. Specific performance standards for the low level and Medium physical level health, the safety attachment have less fear of death than insecure attachment. In high physical health, there is no difference between attachment type. Compared with the Medium high school students with high health situation in the health of low-pressure situations, different individuals with different attachment types of reactions can be more easily observed.
