Comment On Mao Tsetung's Economic Model Of Socialism In Translation Period

This paper discusses Mao Tsetung economic model of socialism in the translation period. The paper firstly introduces Marxism about economic model of socialism from their classic works, and then discusses Leninism about socialism, especially introituses the model of Soviet Union and its influence. Then explains the main contents of MaoTsetung's model from three aspects---socialist ownership, administrative system of planned economy, and the road of economic development. The third part analyzes how to inherit the tradition of Marxist socialist model, especially how to use the experience of Soviet Union's model for reference, including some impracticable and fanciful ideas and faults that lose contact with reality, certainly there were innovations in the realm of the way of socialist transformation, the relationships on ten major and the planning system and so on to a certain extent. But because of objective conditions of that times and the comprehension of Marxism and his subjective desires, his innovations didn't break through the traditional socialist model of Soviet Union in essence. This paper expounds some reasons for faults from four aspects profoundly. From the observation about influence of Mao Tsetung economic model of socialism in the translation period, we will take profound lessons. Over criticism of our older generations is not useful, we should continue to make progress on base of lessons and summaries in new conditions.
