On The Development Of Urban Tourism In Suzhou

Suzhou is an important city on tourism, which got obvious achievement on tourism development. But these all belong to its' rich tourist resource, and there exits many problems which difficult to deal with if we have no suitable measurement. By inspecting the situation of Suzhou urban tourism development, we analyze the problems, and indicate that urban tourism development should combine with city construction. We pay attention to the situation of the following respects: urban tourism attractions, urban tourism medium system, and urban tourism administration. In the end, we got the following conclusion. First, improve urban tourism product (Sinhou classical garden, museum, place of historic interests, etc.) as well as tourism circumstance, which include tourist business district, water surroundings, traffic, consumption situation. Secondly, reform the urban tourism medium system, which include the travel agency construction, urban tourism information system. Finally, reinforce the urban tourism administration, which include environment administration, tourist company management, and tourist promotion.
