The Research Of Enterprise-oriented ERP Implementation Methodology

From the management system change and innovation point of view, the paper analyzes a number of basic implementation problems, and gives the architecture of "Enterprise-Oriented ERP Implementation Method".The paper briefly deals with the problems of the Implementation Methodology of the ERP suppliers and the general implementation procedures. In addition, this paper pointed out the differences between the two concept of implemetation, which are intended implementation and extended implementation concept. By the analyzing and summing up the implementation experience of both the ERP consultants and enterprises, the paper proposes the initial implementation concept model, implementation organization model and implementation procedue model.The "Enterprise-oriented ERP Implementation Method" is based on extended implementation concept. The whole implementation procedure is divided into the following eight implementation phases: (1) ERP management system concept schema construction phase, (2) ERP partner choice phase, (3) Preparation facilities and education & training phase, (4) ERP management system definition phase, (5) ERP management system run environment construction phase, (6) ERP management system run preparation phase, (7) ERP management system conversion phase, (8) ERP management system continued-improvement phase. The paper also analyzed and discussed the goals and tasks of the every implementation phase.In the final of this paper, the writer also pointed out the incompleteness of this paper.
