| The Joint Stock Cooperation System (JSCS) rose from rural collective enterprise and developed in the early 1980' s. It is a type of property organization that is an organic combination of labor cooperation and capital union, with labor cooperation as its basis and capital union as its link, in which the enterprise staff buy shares with such production factors as fund, technology, object, right to use land, etc. It is another great creation of Chinese farmers after "contract responsibility system" in which each household's income is linked to its output. With the late application becoming more and more popular, JSCS not only becomes an aim choice of rural collective enterprise reform, but also is regarded as an first model choice in the reform of city collective enterprises, state-owned medium and small enterprises, and become an important realization form of public ownership. JSCS has greatly liberated and promoted the development of productivity. But with the changes of situation both abroad and in China, This enterprise organization form created in the practice of the economic structure reform by farmers in China can not meet the needs of the economic reality with its traditional system connotation, because its theory, policy and law of JSCS lag behind, without immediate and relevant theory innovation, policy guidance and legal support, the introduction of JSCS will be greatly stunted, and the future development of JSCS will even be ruined. Therefore, more systematic and more deep JSCS researching is of great theoretical value and of urgent practical significance under the special historic background that the enterprise is-3-advancing in depth.This thesis applies prime economic theory learned, uses comparative method, abstract method, inductive method and empirical analysis, etc. makes a systematic and theoretical summary concerning such topics as definition, nature, organization system, historical position of JSCS which are in dispute in the theoretical circle, attempts to make theoretical differentiation about all kinds of fuzzy knowledge, and finally puts forward new ideas on JSCS. at the same time, this thesis, focusing on the levels of theory and concrete operation respectively, put forward new ideas in accordance with difficulty issues such as property right demarcation, distribution of share right, governance structure, distribution mechanism in the process of innovating and perfecting JSCS to meet the needs of practice.In addition to preface, conclusion and acknowledgement, this paper falls into five parts:Part I focuses on the definition, feature and nature of JSCS. The author points out that the essential feature of JSCS is a combination of labor cooperation and capital union, a practice of democratic decision-making and management, and a combination of distribution according to shares and labor. By nature, JSCS is a form of property organization, which is an effective form to realize public ownership under socialist system.Part II is a comparison made between JSCS and other property organization forms. Through the comparative analysis made between JSCS and cooperative system, share system, diversified shares system and Mengdelagong cooperative community, i. e. the author points out that JSCS-4-is a reasonable property organization form which can not be replaced by other forms of property organization on the aspect of organization system.Part HI discusses that Chinese JSCS inherited and developed from Marxist cooperative economic thought. Through describing the economic thought on cooperation of the Marxist classic writers, this thesis reveals the theoretical origin of JSCS and points out that as a system innovation JSCS not only inherited and insisted on the prime theory and main principle on the cooperation system of Marxist, but also enriched and developed the cooperative economic idea of Marxist.Part IV is a comparative analysis made between several typical models of JSCS.
