| The thesis, from an angle of strategic management, carries out analyses and research on China's auto industry development strategy after Chinaj's entrance to WTO. With theoretic bases of Five Forces Model, SWOT analytic method and value chain analysis, the paper analyzes and researches the exterior environment of our country j-s auto industry as well as the industry itself, putting forward suggestion on the integrated development strategy of the auto industry of China and stipulating the development strategy of Dongfeng Auto Company in combination with the company's concrete situation.The paper is divided into four parts. The first part looks back the development history of strategic management and introduces the definition and the types of strategic management. Brief introduction is also made on the strategic management theories applied in this thesis. In the second part, analyses are conducted on the development environment for the auto industry in our country after Chinaj-s entrance to WTO. The writer also analyzes the new features appearing in the global auto industry development and the influences on the country;-s auto industry brought by Chinaj-s joining to WTO. The Five Forces Model analytic method is used here in analyzing the competition status of Chinaj-s auto industry after Chinaj-s accession to WTO and the writer applies SWOT analytical method in making analysis on the advantages and disadvantages of Chinaj-s auto industry and the opportunities and the threats that the industry faces or will face. Additionally, the value chain analytic method is also adopted in explaining how the nationj-s auto industry cultivates and upgrades its competition advantages after China joined WTO. The third part makes analyses and researches on the development strategy of Chinai-s auto industry. It also analyzes the strategic position mat the auto industry possesses in the domestic economic development of the country and brings out the ideas that new understanding should be obtained on the national auto industry. In this part, the writer also puts forward the integral strategic thought and some concrete measures for the auto industry development in our country after China|-s accession to WTO. In the fourth part, the writer, in combination of the situation of Dongfeng Auto Company, raises the development strategy for the company after China joined WTO. SWOT analytic method is used here in analyzing the advantages, the disadvantages, the development opportunities and the threats of Dongfeng Auto Company and the value chain analytic method is applied in explaining how Dongfeng Company cultivates an d improves its competition advantage. The part, in the end, puts forward the development strategy for Dongfeng Auto Company. |
