ISO9000 Implementation In ZIS Company

How to successfully assure product quality has been the focus for managers. The implementation of ISO9000 Quality Management System will benefit not only the quality of products or services but also have significant impact to perfection of internal control in the company and improvement of cost management. This thesis studies the issue mentioned above. The thesis contains three parts: the first part is the case text in which the management status in a Shenzhen (China) factory invested by an Italy Family Company is depicted. This case is written based upon the investigation of actual situation. The details concerning Research & Development, Engineering, Production, Quality Management System, Customer Service and other aspects in this factory are described in order to provide the readers with real and comprehensive management scene. This will facilitate the readers to experience realistic management decisions and thus throughly understand the management theories implied in this case. The second part is the use explanation (teaching guide) for this case. It suggests the teaching purpose and applicable scope for this case and provides corresponding critical thinking problems, thread, background information and key points. By describing the relationship between ISO9000 and total quality management, the contents and characteristics of ISO9000 are vividly defined. The third part is the case annex that includes appendix, reference documents and authorization certificate for case use.
