This is a thesis basing on facts. It tells about the problems and puzzle dom with which GuangDong Telecom Corporation was faced when she developed broadband service. At the same time, using the knowledge from MBA courses, the thesis analyzes the problems and puts forward relevant solutions from the point of view of marketing. The thesis consists of two parts, case and case analysis.The case describes the situation realistically. While Guangdong Telecom was developing broadband service in great force, big problems that IRR was two low and the cycle of return on investment was too long came up. Should Guangdong Telecom keep on investing in broadband business? How to operate broadband business? The marketing strategy about broadband service desiderate adjustment.In the case analysis part, some theories and tools are used like BCG, five-forces model, SWOT, STP,4Ps. Analysises about broadband market, value chain of broadband business, environment of Guangdong Telecom are made. Hereby, a lot of suggestions about business stratagem and marketing strategy of broadband service of Guangdong Telecom are put forward.
