In an era of change, the Chinese banks have to improve their performance to meet the challenge from multinational bank. Currently, many Chinese commercial banks adopted the client manager system and reengineered their banking system. To survive in the competition, rural credit cooperation also has to adopt a similar system.Taking Zhengzhou rural credit cooperation as research object, the author carries out a rather all-around and deep research on how to practice client manager system in Zhengzhou rural credit cooperation, based on the present situations of Zhengzhou rural credit cooperation and applying business process reengineering theory, conformity marketing theory and incentive theory etc. Study of the paper indicates that not only the management methods and labors, but also the marketing strategy in Zhengzhou rural credit cooperation are mainly "government operated" system and in "secure job" state, waiting for clients to come by themselves, lack of modern strong consciousness of marketing conception, single business kind, weak innovation sense. Therefore, it couldn't fit the business development needs in new situation. To carry out client manager system has been the inevitable choice in order to survive and develop in bank competition.This paper focuses on the necessity, feasibility. The author explores client manager system and introduces the specific operation procedure. At first this paper discusses the integration of the conformity of the organization structure model of Zhengzhou rural credit cooperation, and put forward that, to fit the way in which clients are centre and do business in accordance with market directionbased on client demand, must change the mode of several department versus one client at the same time. Then, the paper investigates and analyzes the operation of client manger system and discusses particularly the procedure and factor of marketing analyze, project of marketing plan, development and maintenance of client, and the management system of preventing and dissolving the risk of clients ensure the operation safety of rural credit cooperation. Lastly, the paper expatiates to the status and qualification of client managers, and how to train them. Moreover, it combines with the fact and designs a set of system of incentive consistent.
