Daqing Refining & Chemical Company That Is Competing With International Conglomerates After Joining WTO

Petro China Daqing Refining & Chemical Company is the second reforming large company in PETRO CHINA after Lanzhou Refining & Chemical Company. Because it's management was very good, the company overcomes many difficults, adjust strategy in one year, being ready for competing with international conglomerates after joining WTO.This case describes the reforming steps of the company ,and interprets the reasons for reforming. Based on the theory of Strategy management, we evaluate the reforming about Daqing Refining & Chemical, and analyse General environment, Specific environment, strengths, weaknesses. Then, the threats and opportunities in the future is clear-cut. At last, we give the suggestions about the strategy of Daqing Refining & Chemical in the future.
