Pefformance management system is one of the keys of the modem enterprisesystem. There is one common issue; enterprises always appraise performance ondifferent Stages once and after all, instead of daily managing. HOwever, they cannotaPpraise empIoyees' performance according to the key performance indicators. Itleads to the low efficiency of performance management. There are some deficienciesin ideas of performance aPpraisal and performance aPpraisal system designing.There are five chaPters in this paPerThe first chaPter States the importance for an efiterprise to eStablish thepefformance management system. The performance management syStem plays avery important role in effeCtively cutting cost, improving operation and productionefficiency, overcoming the side-effect, anracting and retaining the talents andcultivating enterprise cuiture and value.The second chaPter lists the reasons fOr low efficiency of performance appraisalby anaIyzing some tapical problems. The author provides a new performancemanagement system to solve these problems, which is KPIpeey PerformanceIndicators) ttiased performance, management system.The third chaPter introduces the KPI chased performance managemeat system,and principles and methods to sst up Key Pefformance Indicators. Furthermore, theauthor also emPhasizes the importance that the key performance indicators attach tothe efficiency improvement ofpefformance manageinent.The fOurth chaPter introduces the method of design of KII,-based performancemanagement system.The fifth chaPter ends with the conclusion of this paper and its fiJrtherinfluence.
