Performance management is a quite important link of the enterprise human resource management. Performance management includes activities to ensure the goals are consistently being met in an effective and efficient manner. The article studies the theory and method of the enterprise performance management system. The thesis studies the foundation of performance management system in Hunan WF co., LTD. It consists of five parts. Part 1:Introducing the content of the article. Part 2: Describing introduction of Hunan WF co., LTD and its performance management system, pointing out its' issues and challenges. Part 3: Describing the system of key performance indicators. Key Performance Indicators reflect the organizational goals. Key Performance Indicators help an organization define and measure progress toward organizational goals. Once an organization has analyzed its mission, identified all its stakeholders, and defined its goals, it needs a way to measure progress toward those goals. Key Performance Indicators are those measurements. Key Performance Indicators are quantifiable measurements, agreed to beforehand, that reflect the critical success factors of an organization. Part 4: Analyzing the method of the foundation of the KPI in Hunan WF co., LTD . Part 5: Describing performance planning,performance evaluation and the using of the result. The article is under the guidance of contemporary performance management theory. First, it makes collective appraisal on the performance evaluation system of Hunan WF co., LTD. Then, it makes analysis on reasons for issues found in this performance evaluation system and tries to pursue root reasons. Finally, it proposes a solution and upgrading guidance for Hunan WF co., LTD on its performance evaluation system.
