Since 1980's,The government departments putting performance management into practice , establishing good achievement becomes the target that the lot of country persales. As the tool, efficiency evaluation have an important role in the administrative reformation. Under the influence of the circumstance, considering the demand of the reformation in China, Our government knows that the performance management is important for improving efficiency and the public trust degree, and paid more and more attention to the governmental efficiency assessment and its indicator research. In 2004, the study on efficient indicator system of the governmental efficiency assessment which is useful in measuring the efficiency of local governments in China, was put forward by the Personnel Department. However, there came into being different ideas and critics, so, the indicator system had not indicated so far. It means that further research is needed to study on the indicator system of governmental performance assessment in our country.Using the relative theories about the governmental performance assessment, through explaining the indicator system of local governmental performance assessment which put forward by the the research group of chinese Personnel Department, basing on the present situation and the functions of the country level government, the paper takes performance assessment in government of da xian Sichuan province as the research object, tries to establish a set of indicator system of governmental performance assessment which is suit for da xian country. Also, the paper put forward some suggestions about how to indicate the indicator system of governmental performance assessment.At last, the paper put forward a set of indicator system of performance assessment which is suit for government of da xian. Limited by the time and my acdemic ability, there are still some weaknesses in the paper, and further study is needed. Especially, ever further research is needed to refine the indicators, or empirical tests of connective degree and efficient degree of the whole indicator system are also needed to be more scientific and practicable. In addition, in the cause of the researching, I have founded that the exertion of government performance assessment will be disturbed and effected by many factors ,some of which are even not met yet.consequently, only if the actualization of performance assessment indicator system is put into practice instead of just establishing it, we could benefited by its real function.
