This dissertation probes into how the Human Resources department of Sino-British Fuels Co., Ltd should adjust its compensation system while the company's operation strategy changes with the outer environment in the first 3 years when the company was just established. The dissertation consists of two parts: case and case analysis.In the first part, the dissertation gives a full picture of how Sino-British Fuels Co., Ltd was born, the organization structure, the employee background, the business development, and environment, and the changes of the operation strategy. The dissertation also describes the current compensation status in detail.In the second part, the author points out that a company's compensation system should be consummated to help the company achieve its operation strategy while the operation strategy has been adjusted. Firstly, the author introduces the compensation system and competitive advantage theory. Then, the author analyzed the competitive advantage of Sino-British Fuels Co., Ltd, and its current compensation structure and system, and pointed out the guidance of the compensation system consummation. Finally, the author provided proposals on how to consummate the compensation system, including the compensation strategy, the compensation system design, and the incentive scheme design.
