When the history of human being went into 1990s great changes of enterprise's interior and exterior competing environment has take place with great progress of science & technology. They will be countered with the uncertainty of the customers, the shortening of product life-spanned the more complexity of the product structure. To create sustainable competitive advantage, enterprise must change their idea of strategic. And Through value chain to build competitive advantage has been best choice.The idea is to apply a total systems approach to managing the entire flow of information, material and services from ram-material supplier through factories and warehouses to the end customer. The focus is on those core activities that a business must operate each day to meet demand.The dissertation, first of all, includes the fundamental theory of VCM. At first, it bring out the inevitability of VCM's birth. It put forward definition of Value Chain and VCM, structure model, type of value. Through explaining the main contents and the character of VCM, point out what question VCM can solve and which object VCM can realize.On the basis of introducing the concept and character of core competence, we analysis the relationship of VCM and core competence. Some supporting systems including BPR, organization structure reengineering will take advantage of how to integrate VCM and core competence. So we can produce a effective Value Chain to strengthen core competition of enterprise.As concern as building a effective Value Chain, we already recognized the importance of BPR, organization structure reengineering, information supporting plat. So the paper discussed how to use these supporting system to realize a smooth business process, flexible organization structure and information sharing in the chain. According to the character of VCM, we give the building principle of these supporting system.When having a good supporting plat, we must depend on the management in orderthat the enterprise those are on the value chain run well. The biggest advantage of CRM lies in that it can help the enterprise to sort out and optimize by network management method. And it is a effective way to realize integration between custom and enterprise . When we talk about partnership management, reaching an agreement to form the collaborate basis of value chain, using encouragement mechanism to promote the development of partnership, evaluating integration achievement to ensure the just. At last, it introduce the concept of valuenet and explain its function.
