The Application Of It In Competitive Intelligence System

In the 21st century, the competitive intelligence has more developed in our country. And at the same time, the Information Technology(IT) has been generally used. The paper mainly has discussed how to apply the IT into the competitive intelligence field.Combining the main function of the Enterprises Competitive Intelligence System(ECIS), the author analyses how to use the advanced Information Technology(IT) to make the ECIS more efficient. And the paper has focused on the Data Warehouse, Data Ming and On-Line Analytical Processing appliances into the competitive intelligence collection and analysis subsystems. At the same time, the author also discusses how to use the IT into the ECIS service subsystems and safe management.This paper is composed of eight parts. In the first part, it introduced the conception and development of the Competitive Intelligence; the second part described the conception, target and significance of ECIS; the third part analysed how can found and run a ECIS; the fourth part introduced the basic structure of ECIS; in the fifth parts, it expounded how to apply the Data Warehouse, Data Ming and On-Line Analytical Processing into ECIS; in the sixth parts, it analysed the ECIS's module; in seventh parts, it discussed the safe management of the ECIS; and the last part introduced some cases of enterprises which have used IT to perfect the ECIS .Combining the Data Warehouse, Data Ming and On-Line Analytical Processing with ECIS, the key of the paper is to discusse how to use IT to make the applianed function of ECIS more perfect, in order to strength the competitive power of the enterprises in the market.
