Competitiveness Of Commercial Bank

With the deepening of the world economy globalization, economic units in all levels have to face such a question of how to deal with the growing competition. Commercial bank, a relative independent unit in economic system, which has an important function in the development of economy, has attracted the eyesight of all economists. We need more theoretical support in improving the competitiveness of china's commercial bank because China is now in a process of reform of its financial scheme. But there is a few theories in which the commercial bank is the principle part.So, this paper wants to study the characteristic of commercial bank's competitiveness through analyzing the character of commercial bank in the level of an industry and a firm. This paper utilizes and spreads the basic theory and points out the factors that influence the competitiveness. After analyzing the relative factors, this paper putts forward some suggestions to improve the competitiveness of china's commercial banks.This paper is composed of five chapters. The first chapter is about the theories on competitiveness. The second one analyzes the basal structure of competitiveness. The third one is about the basic factors that influence the competitiveness of commercial banking and firms. The fourth chapter brings forward a guide line system to estimate the competitiveness. The last one putts forward some suggestions in accordance with the situation of china's commercial banking.This paper thinks that the competitiveness has administrative levels and we should pay attention to the special welfare and system meanings of commercial banks. This paper also thinks that the competitiveness of commercial banking and commercial banks of china is lower than that of foreign countries. Finally, this paper tables some proposals to increase the competitiveness of china's commercial banks herein the situation of them.
