Chongqing, as a municipality directly under the Central Government, has special situation in China with typical dual structure conbined "big urban and big rurual ". In light of the Great West Development, the strategical decision made by the Party Central Committee and the State Council, Chongqing puts forward the new idea of constructing developed urban economic circle, Westen Chongqing economic corridor and Tree-Gorge-area ecologcial economic area. The Westen Chongqing economic corridor plays an important part in driving the urban developed economic circle and boosting the Tree-Gorge-area ecologcial economic area. Animal husbandry accupys a big proportion of the economic total revenue in Westen Chongqing economic corridor, its development is not only significantly related to the regulation of agricultural structure in this area, but to the balance of the agricultural ecosystem, as well as the upgrowth of Chongqing economy and improvement of living standard of Chongqing people.
